About
Huh? That's really all it is?
That's it was conceptualized as a bait and switch interactivity rather than a whole game. The four of us who created this program were all short on time due to the jam being inconveniently timed for us. So we decided to go all in something that could visually look great, but was very simple in terms of interaction. We based the look on retro arcade games as well as the look of character sprites in the mobile game Tiny Tower.
Basically, the player is given Star Wars-esque exposition to hype the player up for an epic battle. However, the explanation goes on for a bit too long that the combatants fall asleep as the credits wrap up.

This idea became a sort of jab to game jams as well as movies and games with time skips and exposition that is either helpful or unhelpful (*cough* Episode 9 *cough*).

I created the concept of this game and worked on art, sound and music. I used Bandlab, Audacity, Bfxr.net, and Piskel. The game was developed in Unity.
